Since slips are very limited for the Rendezvous, there was a lottery held for boat slips that was previously promoted to the membership. Those that won slips in the lottery will be notified about their slip reservations. During the registration process those members will see and select Winter Rendezvous Marina Ticket. All other registrants will see and select Winter Rendezvous Ticket.
The Winter Rendezvous includes seminars split into two tracks. The Route Briefing track includes seminars covering the portion of the Great Loop Route from Punta Gorda, FL to Norfolk, VA. Speakers will lead you through these waterways, pointing out favorite marinas, anchorages, things to see and do, and navigational information along the way.
The second track is our Looping 101 track. This encompasses general Looping information, such as finding the perfect Great Loop boat, weather, marine electronics, and more.
In addition to the sessions, the Rendezvous includes those famous Looper Crawls and that famous Looper camaraderie! It will also include three dinners, two lunches and three cash receptions. One lunch will be combined with Gold Loopers attending the Gold Looper Reunion being held in conjunction with the Rendezvous.

Join AGLCA and re-connect with your fellow Gold Loopers at the 2024 Gold Looper Reunion being held in conjunction with the Winter Rendezvous in Punta Gorda, FL at the Charlotte Harbor Event & Conference Center.
The reunion will kick off with a cash bar reception and dinner on Tuesday, January 23rd. This dinner will be for Gold Loopers only. Then, the next day, there will be sessions on cruising to The Bahamas and cruising the Down East Loop as well as roundtable discussions on various topics. During a combined lunch with Winter Rendezvous attendees, you’ll have the opportunity to impart your wisdom and experience to those currently cruising or planning to cruise the Great Loop.
You’re also welcome to participate in the social camaraderie during the Looper Crawls being held at Laishley Park Municipal Marina and Fishermen’s Village the afternoons of January 23rd and 24th. If you are wintering at one of these marinas and would like to open your boat for Winter Rendezvous attendees to tour, you can indicate that during the registration process. Unfortunately, due to very limited slips for the Winter Rendezvous, we are unable to offer slips to Gold Looper Reunion attendees.
