The Charlotte Harbor Event and Conference Center has updated our guest guidelines and internal protocols based on recommendations from leading health authorities and local governments. In addition, ASM Global has launched a new environmental hygiene protocol called VenueShield. VenueShield,
a comprehensive and best-in-class program, has been deployed at more than 325 ASM Global facilities around the world, providing the highest levels of cleanliness and safety, while inspiring consumer confidence, all in partnership with leading medical professionals, industry experts and public health officials. VenueShield
provides the most advanced hygienic safeguards that serve ASM Global's clients, guests, staff, teams, talent and all other visitors. Protocols will vary based on the type of facility and will be further customized for each unique location. All policies are aligned with - and informed by - public health authorities, medical and industry experts.

Exposure to COVID-19 is an inherent risk in any public location where people are present. We cannot guarantee you will not be exposed during your visit. However, in accordance with County, State and Federal guidelines we have enhanced sanitation procedures and implemented additional measures for everyone’s health and safety.
For everyone’s safety, please practice the following protocols:
* WEAR A FACE COVERING - Effective July 8, 2020 - All entrants must wear a face mask or protective covering in accordance with the City of Punta Gorda Ordinance #1944-2020. Ordinance can be found at : http://www.ci.punta-gorda.fl.us/i-want-to/advanced-components/covid-19microsite
*KEEP 6' DISTANCE - Practice social distancing of at least 6 feet between your party and others.
*AVOID TOUCHING EYES & FACE- Keep your hands away from your eyes, nose, and mouth.
*WASH HANDS FREQUENTLY - Wash your hands often with soap and water for a minimum of 20 seconds.
*USE HAND SANITIZER - Hand sanitation stations are located in multiple convenient locations within the venue. We ask and encourage all guests to sanitize their hands frequently while in the venue.
*AVOID HANDSHAKES- Avoid handshakes, embraces, and physical contact with others.
*STAY HOME WHEN YOU ARE SICK – If you feel unwell or have a fever, cough or shortness of breath DO NOT ENTER THE BUILDING.

Additional Safety Measures
Our team is doing their part to implement additional safety and cleaning measures as recommended by local health and government entities. Here are some additional measures we are taking to enhance the guest experience at the Charlotte Harbor Event and Conference Center:
*ENHANCED CLEANING AND SANITIZING - Increasing frequency and adequacy of cleaning and disinfection procedures.
*LIMITED CAPACITY - To promote social distancing, Charlotte Harbor Event and Conference Center has implemented new capacity requirements in compliance with local health and government entities.
